This bundle, set Eleven, includes a Mini Distress Ink Storage Tin and a set of 4 Distress Inks designed by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. This tin measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 1" and holds 12 mini ink pads. This tin contains a removable divider for storing the ink pads easily. The mini ink pads are 1" x 1" and this kit contains the colors Shabby Shutters, Festive Berries, Tea Dye, and Milled Lavender. The ink used in these pads is water based, nontoxic, fade resistant, and acid free. They are the perfect size to be used with the Detail Blending Tools and small stamps or die cuts. They can, however, be used the same as the bigger ink pads.
As evidenced by the fact that I made a considerable investment by purchasing all 64 mini ink cubes and not a single one work properly as evidenced by the photos I sent to BOTH Tim Holtz and Ranger Customer Service. First it was suggested that I try the Distress Ink Refresher, which I did, thus wasting an additional $10.00. Then customer service had the audacity to state that I was using the product incorrectly! SERIOUSLY? The photos that I sent were all stamped (press & twist) on smooth Neenah 110# cardstock. Not a single cube produce solid uniform coverage!!!
So customer service, rather than admitting that these were a defective product batch chose instead to insult my capabilities in using (or more accurately, incorrectly using) their product. I guess a good defense starts (and ends) with mean offense.
Ranger has made no plans to replace these expensive worthless items!
Maybe customer service should be renamed "Protect the Company" at all costs, regardless of how rude, unprofessional and disrespectful they go about it!

I love all the Distress Ink kits I've gotten. great colors, blending capabilities. Having so much fun blending different combinations to see the results as I am learning. Also good for stamping.

Tim Holtz is amazing. His distress inks are wonderful to use. Colors are so vibrant. If you are looking for inks these are the ones you get.

I am so addicted to these cute little inks! I almost have the entire collection. Bought over time, of course. I dont blend alot, and i use them in card making so they last me a while. I still have my first set and it has yet to dry out on me.

Definitely disappointed. These minis are sealed in the original package but they were dried out. In the same order, I received full size distress inks which were individual wrapped in plastic, and they were fine. Will not be ordering mini's again.
