There are so many creative options of what you can create using this tool designed by Tim Holtz that you’re going to need to set aside an entire weekend just to experience the depth of what is possible!

With felt pads that are easily removable and replaceable, you'll be able to re-use the wooden applicators over and over - just replace the felt piece when it becomes worn! Many crafters choose to have different felts for specific colors. Now you won't have to worry about washing your blenders over and over. Simply remove one colored felt pad, set it aside, and replace it with another!

Beyond the creativity, you’re going to appreciate the mess free and precise application when you use your Alcohol Inks, Mixatives or Alcohol Blending Solution with this tool. For best results, use with Alcohol Ink Yupo Paper (ri-tac49715) or other non-porous surfaces.

How to use the Alcohol Ink Mini Applicator Tool Kit:

  1. Attach the removable felt to the tool
  2. Squeeze some color using Alcohol Inks onto the felt
  3. Or try adding Mixatives or Alcohol Blending Solution to the felt for some fun effects
  4. Stamp onto your surface
  5. Let the creativity begin, your blending options are limitless!
  6. Dispose of felt tips when they become damaged by use or worn.

You’ll be excited to get your hands on this ergonomical, solid wood tool! Now you can start creating breathtaking mixed media or altered art projects, cards, pages, tags, home décor, gifts, DIY crafts and so much more! Your creative possibilities are truly endless!

Replacement felts are available (ri-tac62165), sold separately.

Questions & Answers
  • Is there a difference between these and the blending tool labeled for the mini inks?   By: Tamara78 (04-Nov-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

    • The round wooden applicator tools are interchangeable. I think they are labeled as two different products because they come with two very different types of pads. Both have velcro to attach either a felt or foam pad onto. If using Distress inks (or any dye-based ink), use a foam pad. If you are using alcohol inks, you need to use a felt pad. Hope this helps! • Not clear what you are wanting to compare. There is a small rectangle applicator that uses a small rectangle pad for alcohol inks. This is different not only in shape but in material. The one for inks is round and a sponge. The latter does not work well with alcohol inks. Hope this helps. By: Lynnecol (05-Nov-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Do you have to use a different pad for each color you use? Or are they washable? I read where it's hard to clean them.   By: bulletshot1 (12-Aug-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

    • I have not yet found a way to clean the pads. Putting plain alcohol on them dilutes the color but does not clean as the pads are absorbent and hold the color and when rewet will activate that color again. I hope that helps!
