I LOVE these tins! I have several of the other tins - for the distress pens, the distress ink cubes, the distress alcohol inks - so when I found these I knew I had to order them! They are the same great quality as the others and can be used for the new oxide spray inks as well as the older distress sprays. Plus, if you pop out the plastic insert, you can use these for many different types of bottles. I have one for Distress and one for the dylusions ink bottles (which are slightly bigger).
Works perfect with the Distress Spray bottles but I also utilize this product
with Spectrum Noir reinker bottles.
Only problem that both tins had dents on the same sides; but were still usable.
Based on my experience with the Tim Holtz ink-pad storage tin, I had high hopes for this product. I have a mixture of Tim Holtz and Dylusions spray inks, none of which fit easily into the cheap, molded-plastic compartments inside the tin. I tried filling the tin with the 12 bottles it claims it can hold. But as I squeezed each one in, others became displaced. Once I managed to get them all in, either the top wouldn't close or it popped open immediately if it did.The only way to close and secure the top was to reduce the number of bottles inside by half. Even then, none were tightly seated in their compartments.
With both poor design and quality, this purchase was a disappointing waste of money.
I like having these tins to store my distress sprays in. It makes it easy to keep them upright so they won't accidently leak.
These are great tins; compact but they hold a lot. If you remove the plastic insert you can store a lot more sprays of different height. All the Tim Holtz tins are great,
I needed the distress spray storage tins for all my spray bottles.

Will this tin hold Tim Holtz Distress Reinker bottles?

You can store the Distress Re-inkers in this tin if you take out the plastic insert at the bottom however they will rattle around since they will not have a snug fit.
Can this hold 2 oz acrylic paint bottles?

Yes, this tin will hold other manufacturers 2 oz paints like Deco or Martha Stewart.
