Yupo paper is a recyclable and synthetic paper that is durable and so versatile. The 5" x 7" size is perfect for your card making projects, the paper is a 86 lb cardstock that is smooth and stain-resistant.

Yupo paper is 100% polypropylene, smooth, and stain-resistant and can be used with Tim Holtz's Alcohol Inks, Mixatives, and Blending Solution. You'll love creating rich and colorful mixed media art projects! To use, simply apply ink randomly on your project with a felt pad and watch your project as it reacts and blends right into a magnificent masterpiece!
The bright white sheets are cut to a 5" x 7" size making them perfect for use with creating stunning backgrounds on your card projects. They also resist buckling and your ink will dry quickly making it easy to continue on with your project. Not only is Yupo Paper great for your mixed media and card creations, but it's also wonderful to work with die cutting, it cuts very cleanly.
Here's some exciting news! Even after weeks have gone by since you've completed your projects you can reactivate the ink by simply adding some water. So, if you look back on your project and decide you want to do something differently, we say go right ahead!
PLEASE NOTE: Yupo Paper is not compatible with laser or inkjet printers.

I didn't realize that alcohol ink needed special paper. I tried the inks on some photo paper I had. It gave some results but the ink didn't move like the videos were saying it would. I got some beautiful background papers even though the paper was more porous. I am excited to try the yupo paper... it will be a whole new experience. I can't possibly imagine loving the alcohol ink technique more than I do now, but it looks like this paper could be magical.

I bought this to make my Christmas cards using a method from TIm Holtz. Using alcohol inks and alcohol lift ink. Worked great.

Is there a right side of Yupo to apply the alcohol ink to or is both sides appropriate
You can use either side to Alcohol Ink up the Yupo.
