I think this is a splendid product. It really looks and feels like the real woodgrain paper I saw at a scrapbook store years ago.
I bought this just because I like the woodgrain texture, but after playing with it with my Distress inks and sprays, it's really amazing. The valleys hold more color than the ridges, so that texture really stands out after your pigments dry. It does hold up well to wet media shenanigans, so don't be shy of trying it out. It's a lot of fun, and I can't wait to try the new black one that's just come out!
I will definitely be buying more of this card stock. The texture really does look like wood! When you add some color with distress inks, it really brings out the wood grain look. I have used it on the Village House die and the roof tile die. It adds a lot of dimension and character to the house. Highly recommend!
Nice deep texture of woodgrain, must really see it, to appreciate how fabulous it looks. Plan to use on cards, making village houses, and making elements for scrapbook pages. The pattern is very fine & smaller scale than embossing folders...but deeply embossed texture.
I've been wanting to get this product to work with. After seeing examples of what other people did with it, I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.
I'm just now getting into water color painting. this paper is awesome.

I haven't used these yet, but I cannot wait to try them. Watched Tim Holt's video on the Village manor and love the detail and the chance to use a variety of colors to make different wood planks. I am sure I will be ordering more in the near future.
