Don't distress over your storage options when you have a Distress Spray Storage Tin to hold your favorite hues of Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stains and Oxide Sprays. Included is one storage tin with a metal closure that measures 5" x 6" x 4.75" and holds twelve 1.9fl oz spray bottles. Made in the USA.
These tin will not stay together the lid will not latch on to anything a small long piece of wire is in the back and falls out it will not stay inserted where it goes.
I always love anything Tim Holtz, but these storage tins are an exception. There's no handle on them, and my hand isn't big enough to pick them up, so it takes 2 hands to life them. Also, the only thing I can find that fits them is the distress sprays--other sprays, even Tim's, don't fit.

keeps the little bottles neat and easy to get at when you use them. also you can stack them at least two high.
2oz acrylic paint bottles fit securely in the box insert...perfectly actually. I chose to store them cap side down so I could quickly see the paint color through the box lid; this is less secure because the lids are more narrow, but still holds 12 bottles great!
The very best way to store all sorts of items (neatly) besides the intended purpose. Bonus they fit and stack nicely in my IKEA cart.
I get tired of worrying about liquids rolling around in the Craft Room. These tins solve the problem and fit nicely in most craft organizing drawers and cubes.
I was happy to find this tin. Everything else I had was too short to fit the spray bottles into. Thanks Ranger for thinking of the different size bottles.
I love this tin, I love all of Tim's storage tins. I think I have them all.

Will these hold the Distress Mica Stains?

They can but they flop around. There’s another case made to handle mica spray stains and ink refills.

Will this tin hold distress ink re-inker bottles? These bottles are too tall to fit in the alcohol ink tin.

The tin was not meant to hold the reinkers however, if you remove the plastic tray insert you can fit 25 reinkers in the tin. It is not a snug fit as they will move around a bit and the tin is about an inch too tall so the bottles are not secure. If this is for storage only and not travelling it can work.

These hold twelve 1.9 oz bottles. Since the Shimmer Sprays are 1 oz bottles they may work but could be a little loose in the storage tin.

Is this tin designed to hold the bottles vertically or horizontally? I'm asking "designed to" because of course I'd be able to choose to set the tin one way or the other, but which way is the one that holds bottles securely versus a bit wonky or make them fall out, etc. I would prefer to store my bottles horizontally to help prevent clogging or settling issues. Any other product recommendations if not this product? Thanks!

They should be able to be stored either way but they were meant to be stored upright vertically however, there is a plastic insert inside that keeps the bottles snug within the tin.

The Dylusions Sprays should fit but they are shaped a bit differently than Tim's Spray bottles and it will be a snug fit.
