There are so many ways to use this Crackle Texture Paste. Sometimes I use it as a background for chipboard pieces-it really makes the chipboard pop! I use it on embellishments like wood, metal, and flowers. I've used it on some very small pieces and the crackle still comes through. It's beautiful with Distress paint mixed in or sponged on top when it's dry. I highly recommend this product: you will not be disappointed.
I love using this. I wanted to only put it on special projects and then I watched one of Tims videos and He said you're just wasting it if you're hoarding it. so now I use it A LOT!!! with all the videos Tim has put out and techniques using it with embossing glaze I have used this a lot lately on cards and journal pages, and even on a picture frame. I like the new jar size, and it is full to the lid.
I found this product to be very useful.
I have seen lots of projects where they used this product. So I wanted to give it a try. My first attempt was a fail. I spread it on my paper very thinly. So when that didn't produce any results, I spread it on thicker... and that worked great. Perfect for Halloween cards!
I'm a crackle paste novice, but oh my goodness, so much fun to be explored with this medium. I know I've lots to learn, but I'm really happy with the product and excited to play and explore the finishes.

Is this matte? Or glossy?

This definitely has a more matte appearance in our opinion but it is not labeled as matte.
