    Texture is Amazing

This grit paste is perfect for adding texture or even snow to your winter/Christmas themed projects. It's very gritty and reminds me a bit of stucco! I love that it comes in the smaller size so that none of the product is wasted from drying out before I use it all. I use a silicone brush or flat pallet knife to apply this through stencils and a pointed pallet knife to apply it as snow on mixed media projects. It also takes color from Tim's Distress line beautifully.

    Love this

Since this is gesso based I love this even more. Its wonderful to work with, it dries reatively fast here here in the Pacific Northwest. Under 30 minutes. I like applying it with my finger to things. But for stencils I use spatula type tools called catalyst from Printon art supplies.
This does something similar to Tim's texture paste, it takes colour really well and when sprayed with water, the paste releases the color of you dab it with a paper towel.

Much easier than making your own!

This texture/grit paste is so easy to use and gives a wonderful effect. I have only used the opaque so far but can see many uses for the transparent. I am currently working on a stacked box gift set for my daughter for her birthday and I love the effect this paste gives. You can get really grungy or more shabby chic, depending on your color and embellishment choices. Love them!

Questions & Answers
  • Does this grit paste have an odour to it? Thank you.   By: Nice day (02-Jan-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • It has a very faint odor, smells like acrylic paint to me. Very similar to the collage medium in smell, if you've used that. I am very sensitive to odors and perfumes and it doesn't bother me. I don't think it has an odor when dry. And usually I'm using it in very small amounts, so isn't an issue. By: coach723 (03-Jan-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • The smell you are referring to is the resin that is in all our pastes. By: Ranger Ink (04-Jan-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
