  • Does this embossing ink , in the dauber have an odour? Is it just regular embossing ink? Thanks.   By: Nice day (14-Jan-24) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

  • I have tapped the bottle over 50 times and the ink isn't flowing. I understand it's supposed to be a light application, but nothing is coming out. My embossing powder doesn't stick to anything. Do I need to remove something on the bottle to get the ink to flow?   By: JJloves2stamp (12-Jul-22) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. • Try depressing the Distress Embossing Dabber bottle's felt top firmly down on the paper surface/stamp and swipe ink on the surface keeping the felt top fully depressed while swiping. The dabber was designed to place a light application of embossing ink on the surface and is never going to flow like paint would. Avoid banging or depressing (priming) the bottle felt tip as this makes the mechanism close. Also, do not squeeze the bottle as the pressure could cause the embossing ink to explode out from the top making a mess. I hope these tips help. Can this be used inside of the embossing folder, rather than using ink? If so, how do you recommend cleaning the embossing folder, after using the dabber?   By: User (09-Jan-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Yes, the Embossing Dabber is a fast way to spread embossing ink and you can wipe it up with a baby wipe then use a stamp cleaner. By: Ranger Ink (09-Jan-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
