If you are in need of a bigger distress brayer, Tim Holtz and Ranger Ink have designed a perfect size for you. This distress brayer is 3.31" wide, the roller is made with flexible soft rubber. It has a hanging handle and a built-in footed stand to help prevent accidents in the work area. This can be used with inks, paints, and other mixed mediums as well as used for card making, scrapbooking, or journaling.
I own a similar sized brayer with a hard roller but wanted one with a softer rubber roller to use with my gel plate. I liked the price and I love Tim’s products. This one applies paint beautifully and is quieter than my old squeaky brayer (ha!). Feels nice in my hand, too. Happy with my upgrade.
I got this medium-sized brayer because the roller can be removed for better cleaning if need be, plus I like the two little legs on the brayer frame, which keep the roller from sitting on the surface, which keeps the surface of your work table clean. Great idea.
Both these to use with stencils on a gel press. They are perfect. I especially like the smaller size to get into smaller spaces.

I've used this several times with acrylics on gel plates. No complaints.

Is the rubber distressed so that it rolls out that way or is it solid like others

The Distress Brayer is a smooth type of brayer and it does not have a distressed texture on the roller.
