Got this because Jenn Shurkus recommended it for an online class she did on Distress ink techniques. I'd already cut & prepped Neenah 140 lb. paper.
This is 130 lb, so it should be thinner, but...no! It's thicker than the 140 lb. Neenah! Same nice bright white color, too.
I tried to use 2 sheets at a time in my paper cutter, but it's too thick.
My only complaint is that you only get 10 sheets, and the MSRP is $9.95, so it's a dollar a sheet.
Save it for your watercoloring/spraying on Distress inks projects, but definitely get some!
Image came out sharp and clear. Will use this card stock from now on!!!
I love this paper! It's perfect for ink blending and stencils.
I am editing my review because I compared this heavy stock to watercolor paper and I felt that I needed to clarify that - so no one expects the impossible. This paper will hold up to sprays but you must dry in between spraying and be careful, do not over satuarate the layers, as it will pill if a layer gets too wet. I've made many card backgrounds and colorful die cuts by using this paper with Distress sprays. So just spray quickly then dry, do not soak the paper. This paper also works for dipping into inks (applied on your mat), spritzed with a little water. Dry in between layers of dipping. Happy crafting!
I bought this thinking it was a heavier weight version of the TH distress watercolor cardstock which is 113lb and has 1 side textured & 1 smooth. Well this cardstock is DIFFERENT. Its SUPER SMOOTH on BOTH SIDES. Its nice! I havent actually used it yet but its definitely good quality. Its 1.00 per sheet and if you trim it down to A2 size you get 40 sheets at .25c per sheet. I bought several packs and Im looking forward to seeing how it holds up to water.
