This 3 ounce jar of Distress Collage Medium Matte is designed by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. This is a gel medium which is designed for gluing, layering, and sealing paper, metal, wood, fabrics, chipboard, and other materials. This translucent medium will dry very quickly to a matte finish. This medium is acid free and nontoxic. This medium can be colorized both wet and dry to add to your creativity! This collage medium is made in the USA.
If you’ve ever watched Tim Holtz demo and heard him say: this has a drying time of NOW?? Well, it’s truth. I live in southern Arizona so care is needed to prevent the product from drying out.
I wanted this product primarily as a glue. There are two problems with it. 1)Both Tim Holtz and written info on this product claim that it dries fast. That is what I want. However it does not. It dries just as slow as the other glue's I;ve tried.
2) Tim claimed on a video done last year that it is so great as a glue that it is the only glue he uses and he uses it for everything. I don't see the attraction, mostly because it takes too long to dry. I haven't tested the longevity yet.
