I was so excited about this new color. I received my package and had to try it out. I was bummed though I went to use the new pad and it was so dry I had to immediately add ink. The added in sank right in. I was happy to have purchased the re-inker with it otherwise I would have been very bummed as I could not even use it (yes, it was that dry).
I highly recommend this new blue from Ranger Distress line of products. The oxide set is great. I find the need for both the ink pads and sprays for each color if possible. This is a nice dark teal color that is different from the other blues in the line. The oxides include dye and pigment so heat setting is a good idea. The ink takes longer to dry than the regular Distress ink.

I received the package on time, however one item is missing from the package. The collectable pin that comes with this set should've been included. All Tim Holtz new collector sets comes with the pin that shows the name of the new color, in this case, "Prize Ribbon". It looks like a large tie-pin. My other set came with one and all the Tim Holtz advertisements show that it is included.
The advertisements on craft magazines also all show the pin on their covers.

This is my all time favorite color from Tim Holtz. Love the distress oxide pads.
Pleasantly surprised for this color. I love it & will use it a lot. I’m guessing what the next color addition could be. Tim Holtz does not disappoint. He is a rock star & knows what crafters need or want. This bundle was a great value with fast shipping! Thanks Scrapbook dot com.

I did not think I needed another shade of blue or green. But just as Tim claimed, this is neither and both.. it’s another perfect Distress product! Thanks TH & Scrapbook dot com for making the craft journey affordable and fun!

This color is absolutely gorgeous!! I was afraid it would be too much like the cracked pistachio, but it's not--there's more of an aqua tint to it. Very creamy when sponging.
This new color from Tim Holtz is hard to describe. It is stunning. I did direct to paper and in some light, it has a pink shade to the gray. However, for the most part, it is the most gorgeous pale silver gray. It's not like any of the other colors, and I can see myself using this a lot.
