I am going to have so much fun with these!!! It's SO exciting to open the package. (I'm a color junkie) This is my second set of 12 colors of the distress oxide re-inkers. I prefer the re-inker bottles to the pads. I also use the distress non-oxide inks, and sometimes you want the plain rather than the oxide for a nice base color ... but the oxides are truly fascinating and create such saturated color, and also used as a watercolor with a brush, these are just gorgeous on paper.
The brown and the beige shade in this set are unusual in that the pigment component that reacts with water is a touch greenish -- I like the effect, it's quite different -- but I didn't expect it. More fun! (Need to be well shaken before use).
Oh, was I supposed to review my purchase as well -- my entire order from Scrapbook.com went perfectly smoothly, everything was packaged well and arrived safely and promptly. Highly recommend!!
I ordered these re-inkers and one of the bottles arrived damaged in shipping. I notified Scrapbook.com and they replaced the bottle right away. That is great customer service and i will order more of my supplies from them because of it. I use these for making greeting cards and they are great.
