You are going to love, love, love the effects these Mica Stains produce for your backgrounds and other crafting projects. These Mica Stain Sprays are designed by Tim Holtz for Ranger Ink. This package comes with three 1 fluid ounce spray bottles. Mica Sprays adhere to most porous surfaces such as paper, canvas, wood, and fabric. These Mica Sprays can be used as a finishing spray or layered over inks and paints. This spray can be used along with Distress Ink, Oxides, Spray Stains, and Oxide sprays (all products mentioned sold separately) to create one-of-a-kind backgrounds. Set One includes the colors Peppermint Stick, Frosted Juniper, and Tree Lot.
I love these mica stains! There was an issue with the shipping and one of the bottles leaked. I emailed customer service, sent them a photo of the stain set, and they sent me a replacement set right away. Great stains, and a great company! I will always buy Distress products, and I will definitely buy from scrapbook.com again!
All of the colors in Tim's seasonal Mica sprays are gorgeous but I particularly love Frosted Juniper in this set. It is just one of the most stunning colors ever! Hoping that Tim comes out with some other wonderful seasonal mica sprays in upcoming releases! These are perfect for mixing with your Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays.

I purchased this set of the holiday limited edition Distress Mica Stains. The colors are the more subdued hues but they worked nicely over Distress inks and Oxides on watercolor card stock for holiday cards. The Mica can be a bit subtle when mixed with water. I will keep experimenting. I recommend this set.
In one word, WOW! The colors are vibrant and so shimmery! Can’t believe these are limited editions! Got mine early because I couldn’t bear to not have them all! Tim Holtz has done it again.
