I was worried the interlocking parts might be fiddly but they weren't. I used a lightweight cardstock not paper and started assembling in a corner of cardstock covered with an adhesive sheet. I peeled back the release sheet a row or so at a time and had no difficulty keeping everything squared up and fitted.
I ordered the Patchwork die because it was different and I to make birthday cards for my great nieces and nephews. It just has a fun look about it with many possibilities. I did have to run it through my cutting machine two due to a couple of areas not cutting completely through where the pieces interlock but only because I didn't want to rip them apart. I love the die!
here I come!!! Can't wait to give this a try and design some quilt cards!
Love using for postage backgrounds, floral, blending, so many ideas.
The day this plate arrived I cut it from a collection of coordinated papers and mixed them together to create a patchwork background. It was fun and pretty! My title refers to all the things you can do with different patterns. Definitely a staple for card making.
I just love the quilted effect it gives my cards! My only tip is to know that each square is not exactly the same, so keep them in order when removing from the die, or you'll spend hours trying to puzzle them back together! (Ask me how I know!) :-P
