I have used many different kinds of blocks for stamping and I must say these Umbrella Crafts - Perfect Clear Acrylic Stamp Block Kit are the best. They are so easy to hold because of the curved edges and they are solid without being heavy. Plus I really like having the grid lines etched into the block, makes stamping so much easier to get it all nice and straight. I would highly recommend these to all my crafty friends.

I was suspicious of this item because of its price, but I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the quality. You get 3 blocks that could easily take care of all of your stamping needs. They are thick and have a waved border which help you to easily grip the block during stamping. The grid also helps you to line up your stamp and sentiments in a straight line. Enjoy!

I'm newish to stamping, and had been using really cheap acrylic blocks that were 1/4" thick. A few months ago I bought a set that were just under half an inch, and thought those were amazing - less ink on my fingers and easier to hold. When I saw this set was on such an awesome sale, I decided to see if another 1/4" would make a difference. Oh holy cow! It seems silly, but it really, really does. I now get NO ink on my fingers when stamping, and my small hands can hold them comfortably. I hope they'll eventually make them in bigger sizes. These are great for most of my needs, but I do have a few background stamps that won't fit the biggest in the set.

These are the acrylic blocks I have been searching for! They are 3/4" thick which mean my fingers have enough space to grip the block without getting ink on them or subsequently the project I am working on. If Umbrella Crafts produced other sizes I would buy those in a heartbeat! Great Job Umbrella Crafts and thank you Scrapbook.com for carrying them.

The Umbrella Crafts Acrylic Blocks are thick and have curved edges that allow you to firmly hold the block with ease. The etched grid lines and crisp, clear acrylic makes it super easy to line up and stamp your image right where you want it! The price is SO reasonable and these are now my go-to stamping tool!

I purchased all 3 sizes of these blocks and have used several times. I have been stamping over 20 years and these are the most helpful items I have ever used. Lining up the stamps with grids has helped so often. Clearly can see what you have already stamped and want to add to, such as a flower to a stem. The grids are raised on one side of the block which I also find helpful in placing a stamp. They are easy grip and having arthritis makes the blocks easily gripped. Would recommend for anyone to use.

Scalloped edge makes for easy handling. Grid lines help keep things straight. Small size good for more detailed stamping. Medium size good for standard size stamps. Large size good for borders and sentiments. Multiple blocks good for alternating the use of two or more stamps without having to remove and replace every time. Each block has a weight to it that feels sturdy. Grid lines can get distracting. Alternating the use of stamps doesn't work so well if you need more of just one size block. Clean up is a wipe away. Blocks don't seem to stain. (Note: I only have one brand of ink) I don't see a need to purchase again. However, I would recommend this product.

I just got these acrylic blocks in the mail and I hope this isn't a silly question, but when you mount a clear stamp on these blocks, is the stamp supposed to stick to the side where the alignment grid is etched or the side without the lines/the completely smooth side? thanks!

Well, I have those and I mount the stamp on either side by lining the stamp up so it is lined up along one of the lines. I've not noticed it makes any difference on which side you mount it.

So if I have have stamp templates-place them on the acrylic block- then when done just remove them- Stick on block kinda like a cling.
That is correct. They are not permanent. They are cling mounted stamps and totally removable.

Hi...I just ordered it and have not received it, so I can't answer you yet. I think that most stamps that I buy are a kinda' rubberized type and will just cling onto this block. Since it's clear acrylic, I can actually see exactly where I am placing it to make sure it's exactly where I want it before I press it down. I hope I'm right.
