    Just the right weight

I needed this for making tags and I wanted something sturdy that would also be able to go through my die cutting machine with ease. This is a nice weight

    8.5x11 chipboard

I have this set ready to insert into my paper sorter. I will need to put my own label on them - I wish they had been just a smidge longer to accommodate a label without it being covered up - since the board is cut to be just 8.5x11- same as the paper. Doesn't take up any space between the papers colors so it will work nicely.

I was wondering if this is the right weight I could use on making a mini album, I seen most of the tutorials on making them but I get confused on which weight to use....thank you   By: User (25-Mar-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • This was my first time ordering chipboard, so I bought 3 different weights. The standard 20pt natural ten sheets is very lightweight. The 12 x 2 thin chipboard pack 20 sheets is a little heavier but still very bendable light to medium weight. The best choice is 8.5 x 11 chipboard 1X heavy 50pt white 2 side ten sheets. Very heavy and not bendable. This is one I will keep ordering. Hope this helps you. By small pkgs and sample yourself. You can always use them in some kind of product. • Scrapbook.com sends customers their individual sheets of paper with a 12 x12 sheet of cardboard which is THICKER than the 20 pt sheets of chipboard that I purchased.

I would use a heavier weight of chipboard to make a mini album because it probably won’t be as flexible/bendable as compared to what I purchased.

BTW, I will be glueing my chipboard pieces to a magnetic sheet to store my Sizzix/Spellbinder dies that I use for my Big Shot. By: katiealexis (26-Mar-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
