These scrapers are very helpful. Not only can you use thm to spread texture paste on stencils but they can also be used to shield areas of your work when you are using sprays, dipped in paint to make lines, to smooth pasted parts of your work and to spread gesso, glue, or paint.
Before I received this scraper, I was using an old gift card to pull mixed media materials through my stencils. Of course, they were never wide enough to make a completely smooth surface, and I would always end up with annoying lines in my finished image. No more! This scraper is wide enough to cover the entire stencil and leaves my image as smooth as can be! I love it! I can think of so many more uses for it as well, like applying gesso to a page or getting those tiny paper bits off of my die cutting mat. So useful, and such a good price!

I had no idea how useful this tool would be! From applying mediums, to picking up die cuts, using as a bone folder, scraping off craft mat, removing dried resin from craft mat, so many uses, and so easy to clean.
I LOVE this thing! I have used it for painting straight lines, used it for scraping, used it for a guide w/making cards, etc. For the cost, it's a Super Great tool. Can't go wrong w/it! Highly recommended!

Great scraper, however I didn't realize it was this huge! The price was great, I'm just shocked at how big it is in person. I thought it'd be the size of a credit card or a little larger. It'll be put to great use, that's for sure, I may have to order a few more, for backups.
Oh, wow! This works so much better than my old palette knife. I love using different gels and embossing pastes with stencils and this is the perfect tool for scraping off the excess and insuring an even layer of product. I highly recommend it.
I ordered 3 as I knew by other reviews I'd love it and would want my friends to enjoy one also. I was stirred correctly in my purchase. They are sturdy, work as discribed, I hang mine from a hook. So, happy!
I use this tool all the time. It works great for folding cards and also makling sure adhesive sheets will bond to cards.

Is the edge sturdy enough to use for scraping the magic mats after use? I find it hard sometimes to just "sweep" the bits away and end up using a pick (GHASP!) Thank you

This all purpose scraper is sturdy enough to scrape magic mats. It may not get the bits that are embedded but it will definitely help with clean up.
