I’ve tried several workspace mats, and have to say this one is the best. I love the generous size, the quality, and the markings. For me, a white background is the best for my cardmaking with colors as the white gives a true showing of the colors whether it’s cardstock, markers, watercolors, whatever. I do use my workspace mat for cutting also. This is my favorite, and if it ever wears out, I’ll be purchasing it again.

I don't know where my head was when I ordered this self-healing work mat. It's huge! I don't even have the space to put it out on. Duhhh. I supposed I could try to cut it down, but I don't want to do that to it. It's a great quality mat and I don't have a self-healing mat at this time (except for this one). Is there a smaller one, by any chance? LOL!
I think all I read was, self-healing mat and put it into my cart...
I'm quite pleased with this purchase.....

I like this mat but inks stain it so if you like a pristine working area, this mat probably isn't for you. Wish it has 1/4" and 1/8" grid lines, not just 1/2".
I taped a piece of steel to the back side of this mat, so that I can use magnets to hold down my work. Then added non-slip matting to the steel, so the mat would not move on my table.

I absolutely LOVE this SBC self-healing workspace mat! I have tried MANY other self-healing craft mats and none of them have come up to the standards and quality of the Scrapbook.com mat! And, the price of the Scrapbook.com mat is better than the other mats from other companies. I am SOOOO happy with this Scrapbook.com craft mat!
I got this mat last week and have really liked it. The measurements on the edges are very useful instead of having to pull a ruler out all the time. I thought at first it might be a little large for my desk, but it works well and prevents damage to the wood underneath. It is also easy to clean up so far when I get some bits of ink on it. I've only used the grid side so far.

This product is working well on my desk. I like it very much
I love the new mat. I like the fact that the measurements are on the perimeter of the mat, so I don't have to move my pages to see the numbers. However, I do wish that someone would make an actual 24" wide mat. This mat is actually 23" wide with the 1/2" on each side outside the measurements. Technically 24 inches wide, but my double page layout does not lay within the measured boundaries. A pity, otherwise I love it. I would even settle for two fully 12" mats that I could lay side by side. Like the old Close to My Heart mats, that also had a foam backing that doubled as a good surface for stamping. Here's hoping that they bring those back in their collaboration with Stampin' Up.
Great size, love the grid, can do a ton of stuff on it. Nice that it is self healing.

I love this mat. It is big and covers my work desk nicely. It is also much thicker than other self healing mats I have which is great. It is double sided, however, the back does not have the grid lines printed on it which is ok I guess.
This mat is fantastic to do my projects on without making messes on my table with glue, tape or ink. Love that it has measurements on it to!

I'm looking at this product and says XL and measures 24x18. But after I added to my cart, other items appear and there is one marked coming soon and it is marked L and also measures 24x18. I'm a little confused what size the XL is. Please help!

Hello. This mat is a self healing mat and is 24 x 18. The mat in coming soon is Scrapbook.com - Project Grip with Grids - Double Sided Silicone Craft Mat, a different type of mat. This versatile mat has double sided grip to help keep projects in place as you blend, stencil, stamp but is not a self healing material.

All you need is a little stream of lukewarm water and mild dish soap in order to clean your Magic Mat. You can use a wet washcloth, wipe or sponge to wipe your Magic Mat clean.

This mat looks great, but the description says "double sided" but yet the gridlines are only posted on one side.

Hi! That is correct. This is a double-sided workspace. One side has the gridlines, and one side is a solid white workspace.

Hello, this mat is a double-sided self-healing mat and is reversible so both sides can be used. Although it does not have a dedicated grip on the back side the weight does help keep it in place while crafting. This mat is made made from recycled materials and is durable for those long crafting days so you don't have to worry about cutting up the surface. The surface is very similar to our Magic Mats.
