The Magnetic Magic Mat ensures precision and stability while die cutting. The embedded magnet on one side holds a firm grip on your dies, preventing any unwanted movement and allowing you to craft with confidence! On the flip side, you'll find our Original Magic Mat® - a non-magnetic self-healing cutting pad tailored to fill all your die-cutting needs. While the magnetic side of this mat is not self-healing, it will produce the cleanest cut you've ever seen!
If at any point your Magnetic Magic Mat does not go through your machine smoothly DO NOT FORCE IT. Forcing the sandwich may damage your machine and Magnetic Mat.

Just when I thought the Magic Mat couldn’t get any better! The Magnetic Magic Mat is a game changer…again! I just spent 2 days die cutting for an event and didn’t use one piece of tape to hold my dies down. The magnetic hold isn’t as strong as I was hoping for but the dies don’t move when cutting so who am I to complain. The dies hold stronger when laid cutting side up and you could do that with intricate dies that aren’t stamped images with a regular Magic Mat as your top plate.
I liked it real well for holding the die cuts in place. but I was sure on the scrapbook. Com site it said it would fit in my cuttle bug but it didn't. It was a little too wide. I was so dissapointed cause I bought it thinking it was going to fit. So I have a product I can't even use. It held the die cuts on real well but wouldn't go through my machine.
Yessssss, I was absolutely excited when these were available. I was one customer who requested this. I love the magic mat and that these can be used together instead of a hard plastic plate. I love the Empress machine by Anna Griffin especially because it came with the magnetic plate. Now SBC has this magnificent magnetic mat that I can use in other machines it is absolutely great. A really great tool! Magic magnets hold dies precisely in place much much better than the original Sizzix magnetic platform which does not always hold dies exactly where you put them. Magnetic magic mat is more convenient than mint tape for holding dies on the mat. . When precision placement is required, the Magnetic magic mat is your best friend. Highly recommend.

When the mat becomes warped can it be straightened with a heat tool like the other magic mat?

Since magnet magic mat can't be flattened with heat gun when warped, how long will it last without warping?

Hello. As with any consumable plate that needs to be replaced periodically, the frequency of replacement will depend upon the use. Turning your plate and using the correct amount of pressure will minimize the warping. Also, storing your plates stacked in the machine (center high side up) will allow the machine to put pressure on the plate stack to flatten them while the machine is not in use, thus prolonging the lifespan of your plates.
