This is a real nice glue and it does dry clear, but the glue I received is NOT matte in its finish. For me, it has dried shiny. I bought it because the specs said it is matte in finish. Matte has no shine to it at all. I did tell S.com this, but was told it has a matte finish. Mine has a very shiny finish to it.
It is a lot like the S.com smart glue. It is liquid like smart glue, but I really like smart glue and am careful not to squeeze the little bottle too hard, so I've really gotten to like the smart glue and I like this glue, as well. All my other glues get clogged up, but smart glue doesn't and Artis glue has a nice flow, as well.
If you need a good glue, then try the Artis glue for yourself. Just don't look for it to have a flat finish. It really IS clear as glass when it dries. I did check the finish and the clarity of the glue for myself and I let Customer Service know what I found about it for myself. I don't want to send it back and don't want a refund, as I will use it.
I'm hoping that S.com will come out with a glue like this glue, but it will have a true matte finish to it.

I reported to S.com that this glue dries with a shiny finish and today, I looked at this bundle and saw that S.com now says it dries with a shiny finish. Thank you for hearing me, S.com
The glue itself is great, but they used a regular sewing pin for the fine nib, a stainless steel pin is needed instead. I did not discover this until the pin rusted in the bottle over night. The glue can be put in another container but the bottle itself is now unusable because the neck cannot be cleaned out of the rust
I like the large bottle of glue and really like all the different tips, especially the precision one. My only complaint is that you have to take off whatever tip you are using and put on the white original "tip" to put the cap back on it. I wish there was a universal cap that covered all the tips.
It is a constant take on, take off kind of deal. The glue dries clear. The precision is so fine, perfect!
This is a great glue! It’s fast drying and I like that it’s not sticky and is clear after it dries in case I have a little “squish out.” All of the different tips are amazing, especially the fine tip! And you get so much, so you won’t run out of glue for a while.

I love this glue, but most of all I LOVE the tips!!! I am working on a large card order and there are many small die cuts! I am in heaven! The small tip is a life saver!! I love this glue so much, that I justed ordered my second one!
This glue is awesome, and I have tried a bunch of them. Seems like us crafters are always looking for a better something. Well this glue might be your final quest. It has been my go to glue since receiving it. It does dry clear but with a shiny finish as mentioned in other reviews, I too would like it to be more matt. However if you wipe it with a damp cloth when you have a little seepage it seems to alleviate the shiny. I try to smooth the line of glue around the perimeter with my finger so it doesn't seep as bad, I like the fact that you have a little wiggle room which helps with small pieces that are difficult to line up. I have found it doesn't take much glue and less is certainly better. I would like to see a refill size in the near future.
I would give this glue 10/5 stars if I could. It is my go to liquid glue for all my papercrafting needs. Since I found this one, I've just stuck with it. Pun fully intended.

This is good for vellum, however, any kind of adhesive will show through vellum.

Hi, yes I am trying to find out how this glue does with wrinkling on foil card stock and will it adhere card stock to glitter card stock? I work with a lot of both.

how do you store the glue after using the ultra fine tip? Do you just put the pin in tip or do you take the tip off and put a lid on?
