A great pair of scissors to have in the craftroom. These scissors are sharp and perfect for fussy cutting.
Used in this project: Paper Love
These scissors have 5" of blade with a bevelled tip for ultra-fine fussing cutting and no serrated edge to mark up your cut paper (a drawback on another brand's similar scissors). These are sturdy enuff that they should be able to cut heavier materials than the 4" blade scissors. Both have stainless steel blades! Good buy for the money!
I thoroughly like this scissor for paper work as it is niceto hold and cuts so clean.
I bought the 4" and 5" scissors together, thinking they would be the perfect pair for my crafting table. Sadly, not so much. These are much sturdier than the smaller ones and great for big, basic cuts on paper, or on ribbon or other trims, but I find the blades are too heavy for fussy cutting. So, it looks like I'll be going back to my old standby, Cutter Bees.
I must admit that I’ve been using children’s sharp scissors to fussy cut. Added these SBC promotional gift scissors to my cart. Tried them out fussy cutting a flower. They are comfortable on fingers, sharp, and glide around corners with ease! I’ve never been a fan of fussy cutting, I now see why, using the wrong tool. These are great!!

I really like these scissors, easily cuts small intricate pieces.
I already had a pair of scissors that size. But they were old, , so when Scrapbook came up with that freebie I jumped on it right away. And I was not disappointed! They fit my fingers well and I’m left handed, so it’s not easy to have a pair feel good in your hand. They are sturdy, stainless steel, so I feel good about getting them. Would I have bought them if not for the freebie? Probably not right now. Things are very tight moneywise right now, and there are things I need much more, but if I was buying some right now YES! ITS A GREAT PRODUCT! AND IM VERY THANKFUL FOR THE FREEBIE!

I was hoping for a great cut from the 5 inch scissors, unfortuantly i was disappointed. They seem cluncky and are hard to cut with.

Are these silicone coated to resist gunning up when cutting into adhesive pads, tape and all things sticky? Or are there a better pair of scissors with that coating?

No they are not. They will gum up. I bought a pair on Amazon.... look for non stick or titanium. I don't thing Scrapbook.com sells any.
