1. Insert the base platform 
2. Insert the Clear Cutting Plate
3. Add your cardstock, foil or other material you wish to cut
4. Add your die atop your material of choice, with the blade side towards the material
5. Add your second Clear Cutting Plate on top of that to create a "sandwich"
6. Run your die through your machine

  I'm glad that I decided to get this die set, as I don't have any cloud dies. I like the shapes and sizes of these dies. I also like the stitching on the inside edges of the dies, The cutting lines are on the outside of the dies.
