4. Add your die atop your material of choice, with the blade side towards the material
5. Add your second Clear Cutting Plate on top of that to create a "sandwich"
6. Run your die through your machine

  I'm so happy with this die set. I like all of the designs and at least four designs could be used the rest of the year and I think the one that resembles a peppermint stick could be used as a design without it looking like Christmas, so I find this die set to be versatile and I like versatile very much.
  
  The length of the dies can be used for different card sizes, though I usually make only A-2 sized cards.
  
  I'm completely happy with this purchase.
