Used a different color for each stripe. Then turned the stencil in order to make a plaid. Then sprayed Tim Holtz Distress Mica Spray in brass, bronze and pewter (not too heavy with each) to give it texture. Love, love, love!
This is the perfect size for stripes on a card...and great for layering too! I used it to ink on one color, then shifted it up to ink on another color and it worked great! The best size of stripes and with a stencil, it's so easy. Love these bold stripes.

One thing I hate is a floppy stencil especially when the pattern is bold. But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this stencil. It's definitely made with heavy duty material and the bold strips were so much fun to add to my layout.
