Looks like the monarch are going south. I love butterflies, and will be using this die on cards with different colored paper. I thought this was unique.
Why is this item included as a die if it does not cut at all?

It does cut as a die; it cuts the butterflies out. You can use the individual butterflies on multiple cards. The die itself cuts a thinner outline of the butterflies, which you can use as is or replace the cut out butterflies in the openings. Hope this makes sense!

Does this cut out individual butterflies that can thn be paced where ever one wants. Plus does it then leve a set of floating butterflies to be place on or above other paper? Is this similar to the Memory Box "Reverse Butterfly Collage"?

This is a plastic Embossing Folder. It doesn't cut anything. but you could emboss on card stock & cut out some of the images. Good luck!
