This tool is pure magic. Been able to pic dies of any size from different places, even those tiny ones that sometimes stuck in your plate, and then press the button to release them from the magnet it's just amazing. The uses are far above his main purpose.

I love the magnetic pickup tool. I have another tool that picks up the die but doesn't release. I really like the release feature. Works well.
This is one of those “why didn’t I think of that” tools every die-cutting (and hot foiling) crafter should have in their craft tool stash.
Wonderfully and easily picks up dies whether they’re left on a mat, flat surface, table, etc., or on a hot foiling machine (platform).
Also has a release button to release the picked die from the magnet part of the tool.
Excellent choice.
I'm sure this item was made for using to remove dies from the hot foil machines but it has been a great help to me for finding my needles, and picking up those small dies when they fall on the floor or under papers on the desk.
