I recently purchased this from Scrapbook.com as I've been trying to decide how to store my 12x12 pocket pages. I didn't want another "album" on the shelf, full of empty pages, and I needed something that i could grab-and-go with to crops without feeling like it required additional protection (like an album would).
This is great! I was able to put a LARGE quantity of sheet protectors in it, divided with square cardboard sheets (the lightweight fillers that come with many page protectors.) I've clipped images of the style of the protector to the divider and I was able to get most of my pages stored here (I did stock up on 50-page sets recently and had more than would fit.) But I've easily got enough page protectors for any 3-day retreat and then some.
I also purchased the coordinating file pages and they nicely hold my odd-sized pocket pages (6x12 and 6x8 sizes, plus waterfall pockets). The tabs on these are not tall enough to peek above the page protectors, but that's OK - they go in the front. If I were using this for paper - they would be just fine.
Some assembly required. Make sure tabs snap into place(can be difficult at first). Once together its sturdy and has a handle for easy carrying. It holds my biggest scrapbook which I was having trouble finding a case big enough until I found this.
I bought these to keep my albums upright and protected from dust and they work beautifully. The material is sturdy and they went together easily. As someone else mentioned, be sure the tabs snap into place. Put one end of the tab in first, snap it and then do the other end. Once I worked out that process it was was a breeze. The boxes stand upright when full. I have two that hold two smaller albums each and two that hold one of my very thick albums each. Money well spent. Love 'em!
The description makes it sound like an appealing and functional file case to have. However, it arrives flat and needs to be bent and folded so tabs hold it together. However, it does not do that. Either the material it's made of is too stiff or the slots for the tabs are not well aligned, but it leaves gaping holes at the side seams and will not stay together! I am both disappointed and frustrated and really wish I had not ordered three of them!
I absolutely love them ,I did not buy them to hold albums I bought them to put paper brands in organization form ., and to hold the kits I buy . Everything in one spot and ready to go lol. they work perfectly and fit perfectly in the bookcase cubes. I definitely will buy more .
