Are you tired of digging through bins, boxes, totes, and drawers to try to find your scrapbooking embellishments and other supplies? Stop digging in buckets and experience the joy of "flip and find."

The ScrapRack multi-craft portable storage system makes it easy to sort and store so you spend your time creating instead of searching endlessly for the right supplies. The ScrapRack has an expandable metal base which sits on your desk at a 45-degree angle. When it is fully open, the rack is 3 feet long and 13 inches deep. The angled design makes it easier to find your supplies quickly because you can flip from section to section to find your supplies.

Each ScrapRack Basic comes with 7 Spinders (ring size 1.5") and each Spinder will hold between 20 and 40 storage pages. The face of the ScrapRack base is covered with commercial-strength Velcro, to which the Spinders adhere. Please note that you will need to add pages, dividers and other accessories - each sold separately - to customize this for yourself and your needs.

Each package includes:

  • One (expandable) angled desktop base unit
  • Two side wing panels
  • Seven 3-Ring Spinder sections

    ScrapRack Organization System

I'll freely admit. I was on the fence when it came to purchasing a ScrapRack for a good long time. My arguments against were: 1) There's no way I have enough product to fill one. 2) $150 seemed like a lot of money to drop all at once. 3) I didn't really like the way it looked.
"There's no way I have enough product to fill one." When reading Tiffany's organization tips online, I considered myself a "got-a-little;" I've only been scrapping for less than a year. I thought having 7 spinders was excessive. Well, I'm not even finished sorting my stuff out, and I've already filled 4 spinders, working on 5. It really is amazing how different organization and "containerization" is. I've found so much product that I completely forgot I had. There are so many PROJECTS I've forgotten I was in the middle of. I've finished three pages and a mini album, reaching right for the products that I needed.
"$150 is a lot of money to drop all at once." This was honestly one of my big obstacles. I have two jobs. I don't make a lot of money. I might spend $100 on product in 3 or 4 months' time. I had to stop and think about how I wasn't buying product; I was investing in my craft room and my creative experience. I knew that my system (or lack of one) wasn't working; I had already been looking around at websites that gave tips on organizing your craft space. My outlook was make-do. Then I found Tiffany's tips on her site, and I loved the idea of being able to find anything that I could possibly need for a project in 30 seconds or less. I spent a ridiculously long time trying to find my product; I used to have stuff stashed everywhere. I'd take an hour or two to pack up one or two bags to go to a crop. I needed something new.
"I didn't really like the way it looked." This is still kind of true. I'm not a big fan of the way the ScrapRack looks in my space, but I absolutely LOVE how much more room I have in my space because of it. Honestly, it's grown on me quite a bit.
All that being said, there are some draw-backs.
The base is pretty small, but the whole of it is really kind of big. I mean, they tell you on the website how much room you need for the ScrapRack, but they focus more on how portable it is and how you can scrap at the kitchen table. I put mine together, and I was really surprised by how much space it actually takes up.
Even when I keep the spinders locked, sometimes one of the rings opens ever so slightly and my a couple of my inserts either fall out or get snagged. Thankfully it isn't all of the rings, and the inserts don't always come all the way off the ring. Just enough to be annoying.
Overall, love the product and what it's done for me and my space. The draw-backs are beyond minor. Whenever you take a look at other craft organization furniture/systems, you realize just how affordable the ScrapRack is. Even with purchasing all the inserts separately, you're getting something that has the ability to grow with you. You aren't confined to a specific amount of space. You can purchase other base units; you can store your spinders. The whole thing makes organizing a breeze. Best organizational purchase I've ever made.

  • Scrap Rack

I purchased a scraprack a few years back and loved it !!! However, I recently purchased another one. Don't love it, not at all. The "spinders" are different. They no longer have the locking tabs. After emailing Tiffany at scraprack, their response was they did away with the locking tab "spinders" due to issues with them? ( they worked?). They now are just regular three ring binder "spinders" if you don't want your pages to fall out they now sell these tube things to place over the rings to cover the opening so pages won't fall out. Awful!! Just awful!! And they haven't changed the box or advertising on line to indicate the change due to expense, according to the email they sent me. But they did add (on their old site) in the FAQ section that they are different--after my email about this discrepancy. As far as scraprack itself? I love the idea. It is wonderful for organizing all my stuff! So wonderful I have two and an expansion base. Sadly, the second and expansion base " spinders" let the pages fall out ALL the time. Tiffany, please bring back the locking tab spinders. And at a decent price for us loyal customers.

    Scrap Rack

So far, this has been the worst storage idea I have bought. The storage pages are not punched right (they are crooked) and my embellishments keep falling out when I turn the pages. Also, because the storage pages sit up instead of laying flat, the pages end up all crooked and everything gets bent out of shape. (fyi: I saw on the video that some people were not laying it correctly, so I made sure I constructed and laid it out correctly so that is not the problem.) I have tried stacking up magazines and placing them underneath the front side to keep the platform more "even" but for the price I paid, I don't think I should have to rig something just to get a functional product. Just for clarification: I bought the rack from scrapbook.com, but the pages that were punched wrong came from the scraprack company website. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. I will be looking into how I can return this. Totally not worth $100.00!

    Love it

What a great system! I am 2 weeks into organizing everything in the hobby room, and I can really see the value of this system. There are embellishments that I haven't used in 10 years that are now front and center in the unit. Everything is in categories that I actually use regularly. I have freed up dozens of containers and drawers that I rarely looked in before. Now I have those contents in a useful area.

    It's Big

I like the concept very much. But it does take up a lot of counter space. The reason I only gave it a four star was because of the Spinders. Even with them locked, my protector sheet would slide thru......I do wish that Tiffany would have made an 8 1/2'' X 11'' version.

  • Good when short of storage

I got a ScrapRack several years ago. At first, since I had no scrap space other than temporary use of the dining table, there was no place to set it up properly so I just laid it flat in a big plastic storage unit that fit under the bed when I wasn’t scrapping. Eventually I carved out space in the laundry room and was able to actually set it up properly on the base unit. I really, really like it a lot except for storage of card stock and paper. It just didn’t work for me in that regard, but it’s great for organizing all kinds of other things. It’s so easy to quickly find what I want, as it’s organized by color or general subject. I would caution anyone buying one though to be careful about going overboard on all the different types of storage “pages.” I have way too many of some and not enough of others so I would suggest getting just a few of the different types and see what you will really need and what you will not use much. I highly recommend this product, especially when you don’t have the luxury of a scrap room and your storage space for all the necessary goodies is limited.

  • Storage system

I love the thought process of the organization. I can scrap so much faster than before. I am using my scraps and embellishments in such an organized way! I amazingly know where everything is now. It is also very mobile. If I want to scrap in a different room, I just take my spinders and go. In ten minutes I was set up to start working.

I am having a problem with the pages coming out of the spinders. I am not sure why they separate (even when the spinders are locked) enough so the pages come out.

I still would recommend the product!

  • Finally a system that grows with you!

How many times have you bought the right paper/embellishment for that one set of photos..only not to find it when you need them? What I love is I have cut my waste...and moving items before there out dated. I've 2 bases going on to 3 ! Love, Love this product! Once you set up to tailor your needs...grows with you! I have a teenage scrapper and a friend (newbie) who love it as well!!
Remember high school/college? How you used 3 ring binders to keep organized? Pretty much the same, except the size. Also, love a product that is American maded...and stands behind there producted! Worth every dime!!

    great product

Wish I would have just purchased this years ago-I have used several different organizing methods that I spent money and time on-but this is what I needed for the way I scrapbook all others didn't work for me. If you do purchase this though, make sure you add the spinder sleeves to your order- they are only a few dollars for the whole set, and a must especially if you have a lot of pages because the rings sometimes start to come apart with weight and the pages catch. The sleeves eliminate that problem.

Questions & Answers
  • Are the pockets durable enough to store the stamps with their wafer thin dies? Is it easy to get the stamps & dies out of the pockets. Is the scraprack expandable? How can you determine what you need to buy to get started? Thanks!!   By: ms.rhetta (02-Dec-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hello, yes I have found the pockets very durable. It is very easy to retrieve you stamps and stickers. I have the 7 removeable spinders large multi craft storage rack and it is full to the brim. It measures about 38" wide at this point because it is full. It is not expandable, however I absolutely love it. It sits on my counter top all the time as I am always needing something for cards or scrapbooks. If I ever get to the point where I need another one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another rack. Determining what you need,,,,,I use mine for stickers and borders so it wasn't hard. I have tons of both so I ordered two sets of each type of pockets. I really like the 6 pocket and 2 long pocket pages. For your stamps, I would think the 6 pocket pages would work best. I would not order the one page multi-misc pages for your stamps. They would be too heavy. It would be good for directions and text examples. I am very organized so I have my stickers broke out by theme and size. I would put your stamps in separate pockets to find them easily. I also bought the divider pages to sort by theme, seasons, and holidays. In addition, I purchase the travel scrap rack zipper case to put the removable spinders in that I need for my project. It holds everything you need to take with you. It is also fabulous.

I hope this helps you. Enjoy the scrap rack! By: Sooners2014 (04-Dec-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Correction: The scraprack is expandable. You can purchase an additional base that connects to the basic base. The additional base has 8 spinders mounted on it. So there is room to grow if needed. By: Debby127 (17-May-18) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
