Questions & Answers
  • With the "color my world" layering stamp set, is there a tutorial about using colors in the steps you provide, Do I start with the lightest color or the darkest? I know I watched Jennifer McGuire use this in a video (which is when I bought the set), but can't seem to find a link to that segment. Any help would be appreciated. • Mendi, the owner of Sunny Studio Stamps explains on her blog post of Apr. 12th how to stamp the images.
      She writes:
β€œThe guide shows the stamps starting with the lightest ink color, working towards the darkest, but sometimes I find it easier to start backwards. They both work depending on what your preference is. The black outline indicates where that layer touches the previously stamped layer. β€œ

Personally I stamp these images from lightest to darkest working backwards. In other words for the crayon I stamped 2d first in the lightest colour and worked back to 2a stamping each layer darker.

Jennifer McGuire does explain in her YouTube video on Apr. 16th at the 15min. mark that she starts with the lightest colour first.

      Hope this helps.
