Can a rubber stamp be on fabric, with fabric paint.

I don't use my stamps on fabric but the question intrigued so I did an internet search and found out that Yes, you can use fabric paint on rubber, BUT it's very important to have a tray or something of water handy to place the stamps in as soon as one finishes with them so the paint doesn't dry on the stamp & clog it up. Hope that helped. Since I DON'T use fabric paint I would test it FIRST using old stamps I no longer care about ruining.
