I'm very happy I bought the Sizzix Sandwich Booklet.
I've ruined a lot of my dies because I just didn't know how to use my sizzix big shot. So I can keep it close by my big shot to show me step by step how to sandwich my plates. I've had to throw out a lot of my dies because my thin lit dies just snapped and I could no longer use them. Now with my booklet I'm finally learning how to use my Big shot.
These are so great to have on hand while I am using my Big Shot. The only thing I wish Sizzix would do differently is include these in with their machines. These are that helpful! We have so many dies/embossers these days and I am sure more to come so to be able to just look real quick to make sure you have the proper layers (for all cuts/embossing) is wonderful.
This handy little tool is perfect for hanging on my Big Shot. It's sturdy and not too big and I love it. I had made a cheat sheet for myself but this is much, much nicer and covers every possible sandwich I might need.
I just bought my first Big Shot and hardly know how to use it. But thanks to this booklet I know how to position all the plates no matter what I'm trying to do. Very helpful and I'm glad they came out with this.
I think this is going to be a big help for me in finding out how to make my sandwich. So far it it seems to come out with just what I need I have been playing a round with it getting use to it
The best $2.00+ I ever spent on craft supplies was this handy cheat sheet! I have two different embossing/die cutting machines and was forever trying to remember which machine called for which sandwich and what die. This makes it so easy. I just keep this with my Big Shot Plus and no more confusion and memorization needed. Truly, the best money spent on tools for my papercrafting!
Everyone who works with dies etc., especially not day to day, should have this sandwich. Ring allows you to hang next to machines. I bought 2 one for my sister and one for myself..
This sandwich booklet is the perfect book for me. I have chemo brain and every time i go to use my dies i have to stop and think if i am doing it right. Do i need this or do i need that or no i dont need it. lol now i can have a cheat sheet and not question myself any more. Thank you so much for the lifesaver booklet.

Does this take in account all the latest items that have been added to the line of products that can be used with the Big Shot? 
Good questions. I don't see a copyright on it anywhere but there are 2 references to an award they won in 2015 so maybe updated in 2016? Pretty current. I use it. I like your idea for updates with page replacements. Or they could develop an app.

I am not sure if it is designed for the Vagabond machine, that would be an excellent question for the Sizzix team... I know that I find it useful for my Big Shot Plus machine.

Do the Bigz L dies require different cutting pads or base trays?

According to the sandwich book, it says that you use the two cutting pads to cut the Bigz or Bigz XL dies. Those clear cutting pads come with the machine. But it says dies with crease require a Premium Crease Pad which is sold seperately.

I have just bought a Sizzix Big Shot plus but now need to buy a rubber impressions mat plus a shim? to go with it. Can you recommend the A4 size for this machine?

Hi Sandra, I really love my big Shot Plus Machine. With all the new XL dies that are out, this machine is made for them, while still being able to use any other die. I purchased the extended crease pad, and standard silicone rubber pad & impressions pad. I really recommend purchasing the extended magnetic platform. I hope this helps. Enjoy the machine :) Lyn

I don't have a cuttlebug but I would think yes as it gives you the placement order on how to use it with your cutting mats so the machine shouldn't matter I'm guessing, hope that helps, but I bought several for my girls and they love them!
