I just love my Sizzix Sidekick for many reasons. First, it is compact enough to take to crops or travel, second I use it exclusively for my sizzix sizzlets, especially the alphabet because it is easier and more convenient than using my bigger Sizzix machine . The easy turn handle is smooth operating and it will stick using bottom suction to just about any flat surface. Works like a charm!!

I love mine, i dont have the pink one I have the original red one, but I love this machine! It's not to costly and either are the dies for it, very compact, easy to use and set to your table while cutting so it doesnt slip and slide all over the place. I highly recommend this machine to beginners and expierenced scrappers.
This little machine is fun! I'm using it right now to make baby shower invitations for my up coming party. And the price isn't overdone either. And there are some really fun die cuts you can buy to go with it. I can't wait to get more of them.
Of all my supplies, I think I use this one the most. It is easy, lightweight, small, and I find myself reaching for it again and again. LOVE taking this to crops, and the fact that it is so versatile.

I just bought this and already like it. I wanted it for the alpha dies. It is fabulous for this- I can cut all the letters I need.
I love that I will be able to take this with me to crops.
I do find cutting the strips to fit time consuming and I have to cut a whole strip to get the letters I need.
I also think there should be a warning-not to let go of handle once you start turning it-I got whacked hard.
With an alpha die strip at $19.99. I'll be using this a lot.
I also have the original sizzix and a xyron cutter. But find this very convenient and takes up so much less space.
I bought this on sale and rarely use it. My designated location for using the Sidekick (tabletop) is level yet the machine's vacuum base is tempermental. Newer platform helped some but not much.
The Sizzix Sidekick is a wonderful product. It fits great in my tote bag to take to crops and share. I love the ease of using this little machine. The dies are easy to carry, too. If you don't have this little guy, you need him. Even the kiddos will enjoy creating projects!!
I use this item a lot. I highly recommend it. You can take it with you and It's easy to use.

I bought this simply because I'd purchased some dies that weren't compatible with my original Sizzix machine. After using it, I like it. It takes up much less space and although the dies can be harder to move through it (which might simply be me needing more practice with it) it cuts just like my original. I'll be getting more dies to go with it for sure.
it's not good if you need to do multiple cut outs. Also you have to have small strips of paper or scraps, or you will have to cut your larger paper to fit which is time consuming.
I had this as my first die cutter and it worked nicely and was cheap...but I sold it on ebay and bought a Xyron Personal Electronic cutter which was just as frustrating (small paper). I sold that as well
I finally just saved my money and bought a Cricut expression so I could use full 12x12 sheets and make multiple cuts at once.
