The Sizzix Extended Premium Crease Pad is specifically designed for the XL versions of steel-rule dies, including Bigz XL, Movers and Shapers XL, and Pop 'n Cuts XL; all of which are designed to be used in the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines (sold separately). This Crease Pad will help create subtle fold lines to make easy-to-assemble envelopes, bags, boxes, cards, and 3D pop-ups. Sandwich the material to be cut and the die between this Extended Crease Pad and one Extended Cutting Pad (sold separately) and roll it through the machine. An Extended Crease Pad measures 6 1/8" x 13 1/2" x 1/8" and lasts for thousands of cuts. Use both sides of the Crease Pad, and when both sides are worn, it is time for a replacement. Crease Pads are made of high-quality polyurethane plastic. When you use any Sizzix steel-rule dies that create fold lines, a crease pad is required.

Be sure to check out the online videos for how to use this. All these accessories make using the dies a pure joy. They've eliminated several problem areas with different pads. I use them all.

Good Tool

I did not realize I needed it when I purchased the die cut but it has worked well. Care must be taken for the thickness and number of items being 'creased'.
