Are you ready to try something different with your dies? We have just what you're looking for with Tim Holtz's Dimensional Cutting Pad that is part of the Alterations Collection. This Dimensional Cutting Pad adds dimension to your Sizzix die cuts by simply bending the cut pieces upward to give them instant dimension.
Size of the pad: 6" x 6"
Tim's pad features a beveled line right down the center of the pad that shields this area from the die's blade. Once the shape is cut, a hinge will keep the die cut attached to your material. Then you just bend your pieces upward. Viola! You now can easily add dimension and delight to your cards, pages, tags, party decor, and so much more!
Use the pad as the top of your sandwich and then easily run it through your BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond die cutting machines (sold separately).
Easily create a Christmas card with a dimensional tree and place gifts around it or add delightful snowflakes to a winter page giving it a 3D feel or add a large heart to the front of your card letting them know that your heart beats for them! You have so many creative options to make something unique and different with your dies when you use this dimensional pad.
Tips:
This product is very useful because I can use my existing die shapes to create wonderfully dimensional designs. Previously I would attempt the same result by using two flat plates with a gap between them, but the Tim Holts dimensional plate makes the task so much easier with perfect results every time. It has given me renewed interest in using my craft supplies.
One of those basics that is a must have. It's fun seeing your dies that will work with a symmetrical crease. Butterflies, dragonfly, bee, mustache, dress form, etc. A new way to use those dies.
Takes regular flat boring stamping to WOW, pop-up and exciting!

This will help me make some amazing cards. I didn't realize there was a product that could attach some edges of a design and leave the other edges loose like most of the dies. It is such an innovative product that I look forward to using.

Tried it on a huge butterfly, and kept the center open. Works like a charm. I could see it working on multiple circle dies too, and many other items.
Took me a few tries to put this cutting pad where I wanted it to go but I love this dimensional cutting pad. Gotta try it and you will love it.

Will this work with the Spellbinder Platinum? If not does Spellbinder have something similar?

This is not recommended with other machines and we have not seen a similar product by Spellbinders at this time.
