Description & Information

You can cut two types of triangles using this die from Sizzix. This Bigz L die is designed to make quilting easier. You will need to cut two right triangles for every isosceles triangle (cut one from the right side and one from the wrong side of the fabric). When assembled, you will have a 4 1/2" square. The corners are dog-eared to make the triangles easy to align. Bigz L dies have big possibilities. In addition to using it for quilting, you can cut cardstock, chipboard, fabric, foam, magnet, leather or craft aluminum. The creative possibilities are endless! The die will cut your shapes cleanly, every time. This die, overall, measures 6" x 8 3/4". It can be used in the BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond machines with a set of Standard Cutting Pads (all items sold separately).

    Quilting Die

I do not do much quilting, but know that cutting the cloth precisely helps to make a motte eye appealing quit. This die matches another that I have as far as the size of the finished square and I plan to use the two together to make a quilt. Sizzix makes good dies that cut well when used properly.....I own a lot of them of paper and especially like the Tim Holtz ones because of the way they are made to cut a variety of materials.
