Description & Information

Create a dazzling work of art on your cards or papercrafting projects with the Sizzix Conservatory Window Thinlits Die. This die is from the Susan's Garden Collection and features the enhanced intricacy and ease of use that you have come to love from Sizzix. These wafer-thin chemical-etched dies are designed to cut a single sheet of paper, metallic foil, vellum, or cardstock and feature the blossoming style of Susan Tierney-Cockburn. This 2-die set cuts an image which measures approximately 3 1/8" x 4 5/8" when assembled. The dies are portable and compact for scrapping on the go. Thinlits are compatible with the Big Shot, BIGkick, and Vagabond machines and require the use of a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform (when using the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform and Shim, the Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter is required). All items are sold separately. Because these dies are so intricate, they may require up to three passes to cut. This set also includes a handy storage envelope.

Product Questions & Answers

  • Will this work with the Provo craft die cut machine?   By: dawntemplen (13-Jun-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Your question was forwarded to me.

I have a lot of Susan's Garden dies, but I do not have a Provocraft machine. So, I cannot answer that directly. However these wafer thin dies, that are so popular, are designed to work in most leading die cutting machines and usually state that on the package. Provocraft is certainty a leading name in paper crafting. It makes sense that the company would want their machine to be as versatile as possible.

If your machine will accomodate thicker dies, then it is simply a matter of discovering the correct amount of shimming in order to use the thin dies. I use a Big Kick, the electric Vagabond, and a Fiskars Fuse and put everything through them. Die packages usually give a suggestion for the correct "sandwich" to use.

Perhaps, if you would give Provocraft a call or an email, they could put your mind at ease in this matter. I hope you do, as life is too short not to enjoy Susan's Garden dies!
