Neat alphabet in a great size!

I bought these for the size and the slightly whimsical nature of the style. Both are exactly as described.

Surprisingly, these are one die - all of the letters are cut from one piece of steel. It comes in its own "envelope" as some other Sizzix dies do. Rather easier to store than individual letters. Perhaps a bit trickier to work with if you want to fussy cut a few letters from special paper. But the style is so thin, I don't see that being a serious concern.

    love these letters!

I love these letters! Love that they are lower case. Surprised that I love them all being on one die. Easy to use. No letters to lose. I usually just cut one whole set and then a few individual vowels for my project and save the rest. Handy to cut them on paper that has been attached to a sticky backing. You probably do need these! Reasonably priced for a whole set of letters.

    love it!!!

All letters come in one plate so that I do not have to worry about loosing small separate letters. The downside is you cut all letters at once, even if you only need a word o and not a bunch of alphas. But I love it!!!It comes out nicely!

    Awesome

I LOVE this die!! Super easy to use, you get all the letters cut at one time and it is super easy to store because it is only once piece. LOVE IT! If you're looking for a fun alphabet die - this one is it.

    great alphabet

This alphabet is nice and large. It's kinda hard to work with because it's once peices but it's a really nice font.

    Excellent San Serif alphabet

I was pleased to find exactly the sort of font I am looking for to use with Grafic 45"s Artisian Style material.

  • What are the size of the letters? And are these on individual dies or one long die?

    Thanks,

    • There is one thin metal die, just under 5" x 7" in size, with all the letters of the alphabet on it - no numbers. All letters are lower case. The tallest letters are about 1 3/4" high and the shortest are about 1". The letter "m" is about 1" x 1". By: lynchmattkristin (21-Feb-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Is it possible to cut just one or two letters when needed? Do I have to cut all the letters every time? How do I keep the letters I don't want from cutting?   By: demoem (08-Jan-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Use a piece of paper slightly larger than the image you want; position it over selected image and use a tiny bit of tape to secure the paper to the die. You will likely get partial cuts from adjacent letters but you will have a complete cut of the letter you need. I keep extra images that have been cut in little baggies with the die for future use. • I agree with demoem. You can place scraps or small pieces over the letters you need. Especially useful if you need several of the same letter you don't have to cut the whole die every time. If you have the magnetic platform and place the die cut side up on the cutting plate you can often place paper pieces on top of the die and avoid using tape.
