Here's a sampling of what our amazing customers are saying about the Sizzix Big Shot Express Machine:

Happy!

"No more cranking! Yeah! I've been using it much more than I use my Big Shot Sizzix. Both cut beautifully, but not having to crank is wonderful! This machine is great for anyone with hand or finger issues. Recommend!" - lexi55

Great Die Cutting Machine

"I waited a looooong time for a Big Shot Express and when I was notified by Scrapbook.com, I jumped on it knowing that these would sell out fast. The shipping took less than a couple of weeks. I was so excited when it finally came. It was immediately unboxed, plugged in and in use that very same day!!! I am pleased with both Scrapbook.com and extremely happy with my new Express. One more thing, this was the cheapest price for a motorized die cutting machine around, if you are able to find one available. If you get a chance at an Express, don't think twice, because they'll be gone. In closing, this paper crafter gives this two thumbs up, both in great service and product!" - cindytenuta

Big Shot Express Machine

"Wow, what a difference from using the manual Big Shot machine. I had a craft show to do in 2 weeks and it proved to be a terrific tool to assist me in completing over 100 cards. So glad I finally purchased the electric version and plan to use for a long time for scrapbooking, cards and other projects." - Rockwell78

    So far It is great

I’ve had it just a week and it is a pleasure to use. It was getting harder to crank the old plain big shot. The only thing I would say is I would like more information about it technically; such as the pamphlet warning “not to put 2 decorative dies or 6 sizzzlets in it at once.” That voids its warranty. I emailed Sizzix, but their answer to my question was, “It voids the warranty.” My reply of “Why?” was ignored.

I’m looking forward to other’s comments.

    Sizzix- big shot express

Love it! It's so quiet. Cuts great.
It came so fast, within the week that I ordered it.
My only negative is the cutting plates - they warp (my cuttlebug plates I have found if you put the C plate on top of the B plate on the bottom the thicker plate keeps them from warping. Maybe sizzix can come up with a thicker cutting plate and a thin cutting plate to eliminate the warping.) and would much prefer the regular size of base plate rather than the extended. the regular size should be what comes with the machine and the extended should be purchased separate. (in my opinion)

AMAZING ! No more cranks for me!

I've always wanted a machine that I didn't have to crank. As a SU demonstrator, I hold classes in my home each month. We don't sell this machine, but it sure has helped me cut out my class supplies quickly and with minimal effort. I love it! So glad to have it on sale!

    Big shot Express

I have enjoyed my Big Shot for over a decade. As I age, I have considered making the switch to an electric model, but the expense seemed prohibitive. When I saw the price at your store, I decided I would not put off my purchase any longer. The machine works like a dream, and really much quieter than I had expected.

  • Wish I had bought sooner

I bought my Big Kick 10 years ago...I have looked at the electric Big Shot but could never pull the trigger. So glad I finally did and got such a great price! I was concerned it would be slow, but it's not.

  • With this sale it says that it is for the machine only. I'm assuming then that the platforms do not come with this deal. Is that correct?   By: gbJoni (28-Sep-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

  • I use a crank Sizzix Big Shot machine and find that the clear plates bend relatively quick after using it particularly using dies (and embossing the dies). Sometimes to get the die to cut or emboss properly, it takes an extra sheet or two of paper to get good results.....and this typically leads to the clear plates curling. I don't know if my machine is old or what. I have replaced all the plates and still get the same "not so good" results....and I follow directions on whatever I'm cutting or embossing. So...my question is....will the clear plates also bend using the electric machine? AND will it give good cuts on the dies that are more intricate without having to put extra paper or shims in the sandwich? (because I find that with the machine I have now...it needs extra somethings in with the plates in order to get clean cuts...and my plates curl way to easy.) I am waiting to get comments on this before investing in the electric one. I've seen pros and cons, but I haven't read any questions or comments with the concern I have asked. :) Thanks!   By: Freebird Forever (23-Mar-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I find it very helpful to switch sides for the cutting pads. Just flip them upside down so the cutting pad is rounded or bowed on top. The pad will eventually straighten out. Do this for both sides, it works wonderful! I was buying cutting pads too often until I read this somewhere online. I have the
Big Shot Express and this works the same with the Express. I have not had to replace my cutting pads in over 6 months, so I can buy other things!! When that pad starts to bow, just flip it upside done again. Also, for the Express I always use the shim that came with it for intricate die cutting. Instructions included. on how to use exactly. • The Express is basically the same machine without the manual crank. Unfortunately the plates (Cutting Pad) tend to bend. The advice is to use them alternately, that is not always use the same side and place to cut out. About the intricate dies there is a very useful purpose plate: Sizzix Accessory - Precision Base Plate for Intricate Thinlits Dies Item #660320 link By: Anna Draicchio (25-Mar-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Is the platform 6inches wide? I have the Big Shot Plus and it is over 8 inches. Any opinions on this machine versus the THoltz Vagabond 2 by Sixxix besides price. The Vagabond 2 is made of all metal gears per the video. I just purchased my Big Shot Plus this summer and I am tired of cranking. Getting too old. This is all new to me. New adventure since I retired recently.   By: smith5019 (08-Nov-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The vagabond 2 is much more durable. I was told it was the same machine as the big shot except with metal gears and twice the motor. I am tempted to get the Vagabond 2 as well. I just want to make sure it is the 2. Hope this helps! By: melissaedwards (04-Dec-17) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Some electric cutting machines require you to hold the button down the entire time (while it's cutting the die). Is this a one time push button or do you need to hold the button down continually as the die cuts? I hope this makes sense.   By: Gelseysfairygodmom (06-Oct-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

  • How loud is the motor? Am I going to wake anyone up or interfere with others listening to TV, etc. in open area?   By: Laumityler (22-Mar-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I don't find it loud at all. I would describe it as a whir. I think the only way it might disturb someone is if you were sitting right beside them. The motor only runs while you are actually running the dir through so it runs for maybe 20 seconds. By: Judbud (05-Apr-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
