    Thinlits Die

I saw several cards made with this die, some were white with glitter and some were green. So, I wanted to try them myself, to see what kind of magic I could make. The thinlits dies are so easy to use. You get the best of both worlds on this type of die -- the positive and negative cuts. So no wasted paper. I am very satisfied. I have never been disappointed with the service I receive and the promptness of delivery.

Love them when I use fabric softener sheets to come out perfect.

These dies cut lovely trees. I have found that using the fabric softener sheets as backing under the paper makes cutting so much easier to separate the cuts from the cutout parts. Anyone having problems with tearing and annoying task of separation will find the fabric softener sheet method a real solution. I have found that it does take a 4-ply layer to work best. I hope this helps others.

"Chrustmas - Thinlits die - Woodland" by Tim Holtz

this is a perfect die when making a 5x7 Christmas card. I highly recommend this die along with different shades of green and white. Will be using with Tim Holtz's "Sleigh Ride" and "Prancing Deer". Found I needed to use wax paper from time to time.

I have been eyeing these dies for a while now and when Scrapbook.com had them back in stock I scoped them up. Best price in town. Plus, you can not go wrong w/ sizzix. Scrapbook.com and Sizzix are a great combo

  • I recently purchased the trees, have been wanting them for quite awhile and I just purchased my first Big Shot. I have been making cards for years and now looking forward to doing the cards a little differently. My question regarding the thin cut-out's....what is best and easiest way to attach them to cardstock neatly?   By: fourpawspress (06-Sep-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I use either Best Ever Glue or my Xyron. If the tip on the glue isn't fine enough for you, you can buy a fine tip that will fit it. They are by ScraPerfect and
are No-Clog Writing Cap. I believe they make different sizes.

  • This die has been on my wish list for a long time now...but it has also be 'Out Of Stock' for just as long! :( I'm wondering if this is something that will be coming back to your store? Or has this die been retired?   By: SharonJane (27-Jan-17) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!

  • I have a cuddlebug will these dies work with that machine?   By: lindahulvey (28-Oct-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I use a Cuttlebug and these dies work just fine. You might need to put an extra sheet or two of cardstock into your sandwich, or add some wax paper to help in releasing the cuts. Just do a little exploring. By: cheryl_king134 (30-Oct-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • I am new to die cutting. I will be buying my first Big Shot shortly. I see someone commented on using waxpaper, I imagine for backing while cutting. Does it help to keep the cut designs from sticking, not releasing??   By: fourpawspress (04-Jul-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. • If you are looking a Big Shot spend the extra money and get the Big Shot Express. Best investment I have made. I have been hand cranking for years and my friend told me the price is so reasonable and I went for it. Never regretted it for a second. Great product. • Yes, especially for the more intricate dies, it helps to separate paper from the die. By: kaygregory1976 (06-Jul-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
