Compatibility:

  • Designed to die cut, emboss, or stencil one sheet of cardstock, paper, vellum, or metallic foil. Can be used with thin fabric and felt as well!
  • Compatible with leading die cutting machines including the Sizzix Big Shot and Vagabond machines (sold separately).
  • Super simple, compact, and portable for die-cutting and crafting at home or on-the-go at a crop, convention, or friend's house!

How to use:

  • Die-cut your mini floral design from your chosen material using a compatible die-cutting machine.
  • Once cut, start on the outside edge of the swirl and carefully wrap the end around a wood dowel, toothpick, or skewer.
  • Keep your skewer device pointed to the center of the flower design as you continue to roll around the dowel in a uniform bunch.
  • Once you've reached the end of your floral pattern, remove the stick and either tighten the petals or loosen them (the choice is yours!).
  • Finish your flower and preserve your artwork by adding a glue dot or bit of hot glue to the inside of the circular flap at the very center of the flower.
  • Close the flap against the bottom loops of the flower (adding a dot more glue if needed) and voila! An absolutely gorgeous, handmade mini flower!

Fun ideas for your Mini Florals Thinlits Die by Sizzix:

  • Die cut small bouquets of flowers, paper boutonnieres, or adornments for a wedding cake!

  • How do I use my big kick machine with this die? I can not seem to get it to cut. Either my plates are not thick even to pass through machine or it is too thick and won't go through machine. Help I am so disappointed in these thinlits as I can not figure out how to get them to cut in my Vintj Big Kick.   By: Danyellecrafts (15-Mar-19) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
