If you want to make quick inexpensive gifts, just buy chapsticks/lip balms in the standard size and make these little holders. They are fast to put together and can be decorate with any theme you like. Depending on your papers, these are unisex gifts. Who doesn't need lip balm?
I planned to create the Christmas light favors for 2019, using the curvy treat box die. I came across this product, bought it, made a few, and like the size and ability to embellish it. Just know there is a slight difference in size between exterior and interior pieces. Using a single sided decorative paper for the exterior leaves a 1/8 white edge against the interior piece. I also noted that a nondirectional pattern works best on the exterior because of the straight bottom edge. I plan to use mini glue dots on the tabs to secure the balm in place. So glad I bought this! Everyone I know used a stick lip balm!
I just love this lip balm holder die. Naturally I had to try it as soon as it arrived. Out came my scrap paper and mt big shot. I made about 5, once I was done my 4yr granddaughter confiscated every last one to give to her teachers mind you she only has 2. I purchased for a giveaway at a fundraiser this will be perfect. Once I get all 150 completed I will post pictures. This product comes highly recommended it's perfect go to for quick last minute projects.
I’m making theses for Christmas tree ornaments for the family, they will be on the tree Christmas morning, they are very easy to make, love all my sizzix dies...also will be using them on packages that are going to other friends and family, with my home made lip balms.
