Your paper cutting projects will really stand out with these Purple with Silver Glitter Standard Cutting Pads from the Accessory Collection by Sizzix! The package includes two cutting pads that each measure 6.125" x 8.75". Use them with the Vagabond, Big Shot, Big Shot Plus, Big Shot Pro and BIGkick die cutting machines sold separately. This pair of see-through sparkly pads, also known as cutting mats, are made of high quality polycarbonate plastic and is easy to spot on any workstation.
I tend to bury my pads under paper as I'm working, but these bright colored cutting pads are a lot easier to find. I use my older clear pads to use for cutting into and the pretty colored ones for making it easy to glide through my Big Shot. I keep them away from the cutting side of my dies! These purple cutting pads with silver glitter in them are gorgeous and I hope they'll always be this pristine!!
When your favorite color is purple how can it not be perfect! I needed a new set because the set that came with my Big Shot was looking pretty bad. When you are just learning I guess the plates can take a lot of abuse when you don't know what you're doing. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has put the die the wrong way (ugh) and cut the plate. Anyway I'm loving my new purple ones they are so pretty. I'm definitely more cautious now.
This is a great idea, it's so easy to spot among all your paper and such,I don't know about anyone else, but I seam to lose site of my clear ones all the time. Love this colour and the sparkles just make it pretty!
like the colors of these, now I can use one clear on for cutting on and the purple for the opposite one. Like another viewer said doesn't get lost as easy in the other items I'm working with.
The cutting plates last a long time. I like having the options to get them in a color rather than just clear.

Has anyone used these cutting plates extensively? If so, did your dies damage the plates to the point where the glitter inside the plates affected your project?

I have mainly used the glitter plates as my top plate and used the clear plates as my cutting plates. Since they go out of shape over time I like to replace just one. Sorry this probably hasn’t helped
