Stack up your favorite pictures with the Staxables Frame Bigz Die designed by Lynda Kanase for the Picture This Collection by Sizzix. This multi-level frame is perfect for displaying in your home or office. The Bigz die cleanly cuts thick materials, including cardstock, chipboard, fabric, foam, magnet, leather, metallic foil, paper and sandpaper in limited use. This die is designed for use only with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines and requires the use of a pair of Cutting Pads, all are sold separately. Included in the package is one die. The design measurements are 3" x 4 3/8" to 1 1/4" x 5/8".
This die seems to have caused some frustration to crafters judging from questions and answers in chat line. However it seems a very straight forward die. I think one of the issues is that the slots are designed to take 2 layers of either chipboard or mat board exactly. Consequently if you want to decorate, adhere paper or put full size centre image you would have to use at least one thinner piece of card. I have so far just used black chipboard with centre images cut shorter than the slots and it works fine. I think the possibilities of this die are only limited by your imagination. I make artists books and I am at present working on a sculptural stack of verse. It also makes neat little notices using just one. I really like it.
