These tiny dies are just great. I have Lawn Fawn tiny gift box and tiny tags. I got this die just for those. I can't wait to make gifts for next year. I will use my Xyron Create a Sticker before I cut the die. Since these are so tiny it will make assembly a breeze. As always, Tim Holtz creates a great product.
These are adorable and come out great, but a few take some work. Some of the pieces, like the candy cane, you can line up and adhere the first cut piece over the second paper then die cut the second die, and it's fairly easy. Some, like the gingerbread man, only a few pieces line up -- in this case the eyes, mouth, and top two buttons -- and then you are using tweezers and placing the other pieces by hand which can take some time because these are tiny pieces. I make these when I need a distraction from life -- because they can take some focus -- then stash them until Xmas when I'll have a nice pile ready to go. As much effort as they can be, I still haven't achieved anything cuter with other methods -- they are cute.
These dies are a terrific size for making embellishments. They are practical because the die allows you to cut individual parts/color for the figure you're making. For example, you cut the stocking in one color and the toe, heel, and cuff separately in different colors. I hesitated to purchase these because of the cost, but I am so glad I did.
