This stencil paper is working fairly well most of the time so far. Thinlits cut through it and it doesn't tear. However, it's much lighter weight than the stencils available to purchase. This means it's flimsy, trying to use the stencil with a texture paste is pretty much a waste of time, and when I cut a butterfly stencil out the paper just curled up around the silhouette. It worked ok for the butterfly but not the silhouette. As long as this meets your needs, I recommend the product. It's great being able to make dies more versatile; dies are SO EXPENSIVE that making stencils from them makes them better value for money.
I ordered this product, thinking it was a stencil plastic, similar to many stencils I already have. However, it's more like vellum. I bought it to cut with dies in order to stencil the die designs. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems too flimsy to use that way--I don't see how well it will hold up to ink blending. Anyway, I can use it for other things, but wanted to let you know that it's NOT plastic stencil material.
I really like these stencil films, so easy to create your own stencils, with your die machine. Good quality too!
