This is a beautiful butterfly stamp with a matching die! The butterfly is the perfect size to be the main focus of a card front. Just add a sentiment and your card is done!
I am addicted! I first Distress Oxide Inked some paper card stock and made sure to have blended colors, then stamped and cut out... went over some areas with Inka Gold (gold and purple) and am in love with these. I've made a lot in the last few days to give to friends to they could use as embellishments in their own work. I've also used these on some bookmarks that I made from embossed folder designs, distressed inked and then added the butterfly.. Gorgeous!
This is a perfect addition to add to your projects, either just stamped or both stamped and die cut. How fun of a project if you did some stamped and die cut and then some just die cut without the stamping details, maybe in a rainbow of colors?! I think I just thought of a new project!
Great size also, not too big and not too tiny. I love how many different looks you can get with this!
This was my first time using one of these framelits with a stamp that matches. I’m hooked and will absolutely have to get more. It is a little sad that the butterfly loses his antennae but since it was free with purchase I’m not too bummed.

The stamp is great, but having a die of this butterfly, is not to be missed. A perfect way to use scraps, heavy weight & colorful junk mail, magazine pages, book pages, etc. The actual cut allows you to glue down the body, and is just wide enough for a little embellishment. The wings are free to be lifted for a 3D look.
This happened to be the free gift the day I ordered. I was impressed to get both the stamp and the die. It will be great to make embellishments with for both my cards and my scrapbook pages.
Better in person, die fits really good. Why I like the die to this is that the antenna is part of the die & keeps intact. The pattern on the butterfly is really a nicest I've seen.
Perfect - exact size for what i wanted!! Already had so many friends wanting me to loan my set!! (nope told them to get thier own! lol) I am sharing with my group tho( hehehe)

It looks like the die cuts off the antenna from the stamp. Is that true?

Hi Suejuku! The die DOES cut off the antennae from the stamped image. You can see this if you look at the second product shot, which shows the gray die outline on the left (without the antennae) and the stamped image on the right. Tim says he felt the antennae would be too narrow and unstable if die-cut, but they could still show on your project if you stamped the butterfly on the base layer (i.e., the layer you'd be adhering the die-cut butterfly piece onto). Or, another option would be to add your own wire antennae or some other version for a fun dimensional effect. :-)

Look at the product page very closely. It looks like the antenna are still on it after die cutting. They are just not (for lack of better word) dangling.
