  • Tricky but great!

These were perfect for what I wanted, I was looking for something to give an almost label maker look and these are definitely it!

Before you buy be aware they are small (think label maker strip small) and the really cut into the paper, so if you are taping (I use low tack purple) onto your paper before cutting... Test the paper you are using first! The pressure during cutting on a light paperweight might make a mess.

Great dies and fun to play with!

    Very small

The dies are well made, they cut very nice. They work exactly as they should.

I couldn't find information on the size of these dies before I bought them. They are much smaller then I expected.. they are less that I/2 inch.

I think they would be best used by cutting your words out together and not using the letters, buy the negative space. The letters are so small and then they would be hard to work with.

    Letters

I find these letters to be smaller than I expected but I will get good use of them.

It's Tim Holtz, therefore it's great!

I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but I look forward to trying some of the ideas I have for it.

Questions & Answers
  • These are smaller than I expected and I wasn't expecting them to be individual tiny letters. I should have read the description closely. I thought they were on one plate like my others. My error! but I will still get good use of them IF I could find a good way to store and using them can be tricky. I was first using paper way to thin and the letters were ripping as I tried to remove them. Do you use washi tape to keep them in place while cutting?
How do you store these tiny little letters?   By: LadyBug69 (21-Apr-21) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Many people like using magnetic sheets to store these dies. You can use our Mint Tape to hold these in place or even use a magnetic platform as that may help. By: Scrapbook.com (21-Apr-21) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

  • Can I use this set with the sidekick machine?   By: msabol (04-Jan-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • You sure can! They're small enough. By: gabriel.1 (31-Jan-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

    • Yes msabol, you absolutely can. If it is one of the newer sidekicks, just run it right through. If you're using the 'original', red sidekick, you need to purchase the newer, thicker plates for it to work. These newer plates are the 'replacement' plates for the newer sidekick machines. Mine are the brown colored ones. I have this set of dies and they cut perfectly in the sidekick! By: lois1262 (06-Jan-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
