Add a touch of whimsy to your Christmas paper crafts with the Santa's Helper Thinlits Die set by Sizzix. Included in the package are 11 thin metal dies designed by Tim Holtz. The set features images including an elf, presents and candy that measure in a range from .75" x .25" to 3.5" x 2.675". The dies are compatible with the BIGkick, Vagabond and Big Shot machines when used with a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform. All items are sold separately.
To be honest, I bought the Santa's Helper thinlits die for the gifts. I didn't think I would have a use for the little elf much but the presents can be used for any occasion. Well, I fell in love with the elf and I just have to tell you I have found an assortment of things to do with it--the elf, of course, shorten the hat and shoes and he becomes a football player or baseball catcher, he makes a great sprite for a birthday card, and on and on.
I always love the detail in these. This one is a good size and I love how you can turn the boxes into books. Tim & Sizzix really did it up right on this one. Love it❣️
I love this die set! I use parts of it in a number of ways. The presents can be used for other occasions such as birthdays. It's not just for Christmas. Adding the bows on top is a little tricky but it's do-able. The elf character can also be used in other settings although I haven't done so yet. I've seen him used at Halloween too! Tim Holtz dies always cut a crisp, clean image. I think they're well worth the money. Shipping is reasonable considering COVID 19 and the problems at the Post Office. My order arrived in a timely manner.

Oh yes!!! Everyone who is familiar with Tim Holtz' thinlet dies know that once they retire, they are almost impossible to find again. This darling elf die. cuts clean and is an adorable feature for any project (not just for the holidays). It works well with the ever so popular fairy theme, as well. A must have for your collection!
Typical Tim Holtz die set where you will need to run each die over several different colored papers to build the image. This is just the way it is with these dies. Not for mass production, but rather for those people in your lives who recognize the artist you are,
I have loved all of Sizzix dies, however, I was very disappointed with this one, It is not made for my fingers. I have Ra and it was too fiddly for me.
It looked like a great idea, but not for me. I need to find someone who would like to have this die set.
I love this die! I love the packages which I have used on other cards. The elf is so cute and it’s fun to dress him up. I didn’t have much use for the candy cane. Thanks for an interesting and fun die set.
This die set is so versatile. So many different ways to decorate and stack the gifts. And the elf is super fun! Need a little picker tool and some tiny tweezers to make it easy to build the packages!
The the thinlits from the Tim Holtzs' collection. Easy to make your own xmas cards or displays of photos with the thlits, stamps and dies. Getting Christmas ready....even before July!!! LOL
